PART-TIME PAYROLL SPECIALIST (REMOTE - CHARLOTTE, NC) Job Summary: Candidates must be able to work remotely within the Charlotte, NC area. This is a part‑time role, Monday‑Friday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm EST. Salary: $22 per hour, 25 hours per week. Responsibilities: The Payroll Specialist fulfills the following duties: Create work orders, utilizing the most appropriate CTI while accurately and thoroughly capturing structured data for each issue to provide audit trails and statistical analysis. Identify inefficiencies in existing operations processes and document current processes. Understand questions/issues presented by field managers, take full ownership of the resolution. Provide support for incoming calls during high call volume times, according to established procedures and performance standards. Make recommendations of process changes, provide documentation and testing to implement process changes, and provide training for the team. Provide knowledgeable support for all payroll applications (including SAP, MySTAFF, MyRequests and other applications) and based on interactions within those applications, make recommendations for future improvements/enhancements. Process and respond to emails according to standard procedures. Process off‑cycle checks according to standard procedures. Complete necessary corrections listed on internal data audits. Provide customer service leadership on projects involving multiple teams within the department. Recognize issues or trending work orders; raise questions about the impact to others and/or other applications while providing some troubleshooting and resolution suggestions.
