Assignment Overview Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 06/29/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Description American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week acute care assignment working a Friday–Monday day shift schedule. Set in an acute care hospital setting on the Physical Therapy unit. Shift Details 4x10-hour day shifts, Friday through Monday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM EMR: Epic Requirements Minimum 2 years of PT experience required Active state or compact (NLC) PT license required at time of consideration; pending licenses will not be accepted Active BLS certification required; pending certifications will not be accepted Epic EMR experience preferred Driver's license required for consideration Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire Additional Information 12-hour orientation included with the assignment Daily parking is $15+/day; monthly parking passes are available via on- and off-campus garages and lots ranging from $95–$120/month Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit or affiliated facility (including CHI and/or Dignity Health) within the past year are not eligible; candidates employed PRN through outside firms will be considered Compensation & Benefits Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
