The position requires a PT capable of evaluating, developing, and executing a plan of care for acute care patients. Job Details Specialty: Physical Therapist Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 per week (8‑hour shifts) Shift: Daytime Employment Type: Travel Location: Houston, Texas Responsibilities Evaluate, develop, and execute plans of care for patient populations in the acute care setting. Supervise PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians). Bill according to facility guidelines. Adhere to state PT board rules and regulations. Coordinate with medical center personnel and physicians for team‑focused care. Utilize adaptive equipment. Modify care plans as patient conditions change. Use medical center computer systems for daily tasks. Provide timely and accurate documentation per state and/or insurance guidelines. Qualifications Minimum 6 months of clinical experience (1 year preferred; exceptional candidates with 6 months may be considered). New graduates encouraged to apply. Board‑certified BLS and state‑specific licensing required. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
