Phlebotomist

Job Overview LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Jonesboro, AR 72401. This role involves performing blood collections, data entry, billing, and specimen preparation while providing exceptional customer service. Work Schedule Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm (overtime may be requested as needed). Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed; reliable transportation required. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications 1 or more years of phlebotomy experience in a clinical or hospital environment. Current or prior LabCorp experience. Additional Job Standards In lieu of work experience, a phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency. Must pass a standardized color blindness test. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Exceptional customer service and strong communication skills (written and verbal). Capable of working independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
