Activities Center Member Services AssociateWe are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Part-Time Member Services Associate at the Orono Activities Center. As the first point of contact for our visitors, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all.Responsibilities:Greet and assist visitors, members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.Answer incoming calls and provide accurate information or direct calls to the appropriate department.Process registrations, payments and inquiries related to activities and programs offered at the center.Print daily revenue reports and prepare weekly deposits.Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk area.Monitor access to the facility and enforce established policies and procedures.Assist in promoting upcoming events and activities.Provide general administrative support, including data entry, payment reconciliation and record-keeping.Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of the center.Perform other duties as assigned.Requirements:Must be at least 18 years oldExcellent customer service and interpersonal skillsStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to multitask and handle a fast-paced environmentBasic computer skills for data entry and using office softwarePrevious experience in customer service is a plusEnthusiasm for promoting recreational and community activitiesFlexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as neededIf you are a friendly, organized and motivated individual with a passion for creating positive experiences, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
