Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Temecula, CA

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech‑Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. The assignment begins August 10, 2026, and is anticipated to continue through December 2026, with the potential for extension through the school year. This position is covering a maternity leave, allowing you to contribute within a supportive, collaborative environment while further developing your expertise. Key Qualifications Valid SLP-CCC and credentials for school-based speech-language pathology in California Clinical experience in elementary school settings, particularly with medically fragile students Proficiency and hands‑on work with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Primary Responsibilities Provide direct and consultative speech therapy to students in medically fragile classrooms Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and document progress Collaborate closely with classroom staff, another SLP, and an SLPA for coordinated care Educate and support teachers and families on AAC device use and communication strategies Maintain compliance with IEP goals, state, and district requirements Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions as needed This role offers a weekly schedule of approximately 32.5–35 hours, allowing you to maintain professional balance while pursuing your passion for service.
