As a technician, you will be responsible for quick but thorough basic preventative maintenance.
Major activities include:
- Oil change services
- Additive services
- Fluid exchange services
- Engine/cabin air filter service
- Completing Vehicle Inspection process.
- Alignments
- Tires
- Brakes
- Maintaining a clean and safe work place environment
Major activities include:
- Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
- Adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees on an as-required basis.
- Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency
- Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur
- Maintain an organized and neat bay
- Previous automotive service technician-2 years preferred
- Certifications a plus but not required
- A high level of motivation and demonstrated ability to learn and succeed
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
- Proven knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations
- Professional appearance
- Valid driver's license
- Submit to and successfully complete MVR and pre-employment drug test
