Claims AdvocateWorthy Insurance Group, a national Property & Casualty Insurance Brokerage located in Skokie, IL, is looking for a Claims Advocate with a background in Property Claims to join our team.Key ResponsibilitiesIn-take and report all claim to carriers, track when acknowledgments are received and when the first contact is made from adjuster to insuredExplain the claims process to insureds in an effective and detailed mannerFacilitate discussions between claims adjusters and insured's and monitor all claim activity and follow up with all relevant parties ensuring a seamless processReview carrier reserve amounts throughout the claims process to ensure accuracy and update the insured as necessaryProvide regular updates to insured's corporate entities with full updates regarding claimsAssist Account Managers in gathering claim information as needed for marketing and renewalsAssist in identifying loss trends in reported claims and communicating with the Loss Control and Account Management teams to address themMaintain and document all claim activity within agency management system (EPIC)Must be able to take initiative and research relevant statutes as applies to claimsQualificationsPreferredCollege Degree OR equivalent work experience3+ years of Property & Casualty Insurance experienceApplied Epic -Property & Casualty agency management system.Claims handling experienceProperty Claims background/experienceRequiredProficient with computers and standard Microsoft software packages especially ExcelExcellent oral and written communicationCreative problem-solving skillsSuperior organizational skillsExceptional time management and attention to detailWorthy employees enjoy:Generous Paid Time Off (PTO)401k with company matchHealth, Dental, and Vision InsuranceOnsite Gym MembershipInsurance education bonus programPaid Time Off for VolunteeringCompensation: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
