Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Mid Shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide routine and complex nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients
• Perform OR Circulator duties in the operating room setting
• Administer medications and treatments per appropriate protocol; monitor for side effects and effectiveness
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in accordance with scope of practice
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately and thoroughly
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers; identify issues and available resources

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Texas or a valid compact state license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience
• OR Circulator experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Experience managing contingencies in complex clinical nursing environments
