Experienced Bookkeeper Are you a detail-driven, highly organized Bookkeeper with a passion for numbers and a deep understanding of the architectural or construction industry? We're looking for a seasoned professional to join our dynamic team at a growing NYC-based firm specializing in architecture, FISP, and faade restoration. What You'll Do: Manage day-to-day bookkeeping using QuickBooks and BQE Core Maintain and reconcile general ledger, A/P, A/R, payroll, and project billing Collaborate with operations and project teams to ensure accurate job costing Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings Create and manage detailed project and financial reports directly within BQE Core for internal and external stakeholders Assist with budgeting and forecasting Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations Train and mentor a junior financial associate to support administrative and bookkeeping functions Work closely with the principals and administrative team to streamline processes, optimize BQE reporting capabilities, and support strategic decision-making What We're Looking For: Minimum 5 years of professional bookkeeping experience (preferably in architecture, engineering, or construction) Advanced proficiency in BQE Coreespecially for reporting and project tracking Strong experience with QuickBooks Online Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) NYC-based candidates only Highly organized, deadline-oriented, and comfortable working independently Strong communication and interpersonal skills Why Join Us?
