Allied - Cardiovascular Technologist (CVOR Tech)

CVOR Technician
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CVOR Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting surgical procedures and ensuring optimal patient care. This position requires a strong background in open heart and enovascular experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures including hearts, vascular, thoracic, general, neuro, spine, robotics, and ortho cases.
- Prepare and maintain sterile environments throughout surgical procedures.
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver the highest quality care.
- Participate in unit and department-specific orientation to become familiar with protocols and practices.
Work Schedule
- Standard shifts are from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
- One weekday on-call requirement per week.
- One weekend on-call requirement per month (Friday to Sunday).
- Flexibility to float to General OR as needed.
Qualifications
- Required Certifications: BLS (AHA), Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSA.
- Open heart and enovascular experience is essential.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills are necessary to succeed in this role.
Additional Information
- Position may require floating to general OR due to operational needs.
- Scrubs will be provided.
- Charting will be conducted using the EPIC system.
- Cancellation policy allows for up to four shifts per 13-week assignment and three shifts for shorter assignments.
