Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound assessments, including obstetric, gynecological, abdominal, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety within each procedure by providing clear and compassionate communication
• Work hand-in-hand with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the highest quality of diagnostic imaging
• Maintain imaging equipment meticulously while promptly noting any technical issues
• Accurately log procedures and manage patient information through our electronic medical records system
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in ultrasound technology and methodologies

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current registration from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
