Procurement SpecialistThe Procurement Specialist serves as a critical resource to the sales organization and the broader company, with primary responsibility for sourcing and purchasing hardware and software solutions for Logically's customers and internal teams. This role also supports the effective management of internal inventory to ensure alignment with customer demand and overall operational efficiency. The Procurement Specialist partners closely with suppliers and vendors to confirm product specifications, monitor availability, delivery requirements, and identify opportunities to optimize cost savings while maintaining quality and reliability. They proactively manage the full procurement lifecycle by tracking orders, expediting delayed shipments, and resolving issues related to order changes, returns, replacements, invoicing and credit arrangements. In addition, this role collaborates cross-functionally with internal teams including sales, operations, and finance to ensure procurement activities are executed accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with business objectives. The Procurement Specialist plays a key role in delivering seamless experience from order placement through final delivery. This role is onsite at our Dublin, OH office.Job Duties & Responsibilities:Ensure the accurate and timely ordering of hardware and software in support of Logically's managed services goalsOrder technical equipment and software licensing for internal departments purchasing equipment necessary to provide superior managed servicesOrder office supplies and approved snacks for office personnelCoordinate with internal teams to anticipate purchasing needs, including general inventory considerations.Collaborate with internal departments (Finance, Operations, and Inventory Manager) to align procurement activities with business objectives.Review orders for quantity, specifications, delivery requirements, and compliance with established policies and proceduresExecute purchase order (PO) for the product following vendor contracts and company policiesProcess renewals for existing software licenses and maintenance agreements on equipmentCollaborate with the Quoting department by ensuring sales-related information is added into our Connectwise system.Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in the procurement function.Ensure fulfillment of PO through physical reconciliation in ConnectWise of shipped items to vendor packing list/invoiceInspect all deliveries for damage and accuracyProactively identify organizational purchasing trends to support the procurement team's ongoing development and improvementCollaborate with internal/external associates to ensure timely support and resolution on any account inquiriesCreate and document internal processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilitiesQualifications:Associate's degree in supply chain, business, or related area are a plus but equivalent work experience will also be considered.1-3 or more years of experience in procurement activities preferredExperience in Software as a Service, IT Hardware, Cloud Services, or Professional Services is a plusBasic knowledge of ConnectWise or other similar systems is preferredExperience in Microsoft Suite is preferredAbility to work in a team environment and demonstrate time management skills as well as verbal and written communication skillsBusiness acumen; translating business requirements into related solutionsFlexible and able to remain calm in times of stress while managing multiple priorities at one timeSound problem-solving technique with ability and persistence to generate options and select the best solutionAbility to build relationships based on trust to enable collaboration and cooperation amongst team members and internal/external stakeholdersAbility to communicate effectively with customers and various levels of management both verbally and in written formAbility to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentTeam player mentality and willingness to share knowledge with othersMust be able to lift equipment up to 35 lbs.Logically provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetics, gender identity, sexual orientation, and other protected classes.
