deciBel Research has an immediate opening for an ATV Test Engineer in Huntsville, AL.Position Description:The selected Engineer will support the Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Weapon System (GWS) program as an individual contributor on the Architecture and Delivery (A&D) Automated Test and Verification (ATV) Team and is responsible for developing automation related SW development products in support of the GWS contract execution on behalf of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a STEM related field from an accredited university.Experience Requirements:Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university and at least 5 years of related experience, or a master's degree and at least 3 years of related experience, or 1 year of related experience with a PhD.Experience with components of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - software design requirements, application development, integration, testing, or deploymentExperience with requirements management tools such as DOORSFamiliarity with Agile software development using tools like Jira, Confluence, Fisheye/Crucible, and BitbucketPost Test Analysis experienceFamiliar with Test Automation or Scripting (python or other coding language) to support test execution or analysis activitiesCandidate must possess good communication skillsCapable of working both independently and within team environmentsMust have an active DoD Secret or higher clearanceMust be able to work in office, on siteSpecial Skills Desired:Experience with requirements decomposition and requirements managementDegree in Systems EngineeringExperience with Requirement Verification methods such as TestGMD KnowledgeDemonstrated independent planning, organization, and working in cross-functional teams with a customer focusUnderstanding of the Systems Engineering V-ModelDegree in Software Engineering or Computer Science discipline(s)Experience developing technical solutions in collaboration with product teamsExperience in software development related to Test AutomationExperience using Jenkins and ElasticsearchExperience in Agile/Scrum leadership roles such as Scrum Master or Product OwnerCurrent Security+ certificationProfessional experience development using Python or similar languagesApplicant selected must have an active Secret security clearance.
