Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in fast-paced emergency and acute care settings
• Assess patient conditions, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments accurately according to provider orders and facility protocols
• Monitor patient status, recognize changes, and escalate concerns promptly for immediate intervention
• Document all patient interactions thoroughly and promptly in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Collaborate seamlessly with physicians, case managers, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care to ensure understanding and compliance
• Adhere to infection prevention, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines (e.g., Joint Commission, state policies)
• Support unit functions by assisting with admissions, discharges, transfers, and patient flow management
• Float to similar units as needed, maintaining flexibility and high-quality care standards

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Active RN license (compact license preferred where applicable)
• 1-2+ years of recent acute care or emergency department experience
• Current BLS certification (AHA required)
• Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, or TNCC as required by the facility
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and onboarding requirements
• Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and professional adaptability

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Familiarity with EMRs like Epic, Cerner, or Meditech
• Experience floating within different units of the same service line

Worksite Location: Boston, MA

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM

Pay Rate: Starting at $65/hour, up to $70/hour for highly experienced candidates

Pay Type: Per Hour

Hours: M-F 8:30 am - 6 pm
