Primary Therapist
Location: West Nyack, New York
Our organization operates a residential treatment facility in West Nyack, NY , dedicated to adolescents seeking help for Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or Exercise Addiction.
At our facility, we assist young individuals and their families on their journey to complete recovery. We equip each adolescent with the tools to face life's challenges without the burden of an eating disorder. Our approach includes empathy, education, and family involvement, ensuring that families are integral partners in the recovery journey. We aim to help each adolescent develop healthy skills and a profound understanding of how to embrace their unique identity.
We are currently looking for a Primary Therapist to become a vital part of our interdisciplinary treatment team.
Salary: $62,400 - $85,000 per year
Schedule: Full Time, Tuesday to Saturday

Key Responsibilities:- Conducting individual, group, and family therapy sessions
- Acting as a liaison between families and outpatient providers
- Engaging with insurance companies for pre-certification and utilization management
- Involvement in discharge and aftercare planning
- Providing therapeutic meal support while demonstrating a healthy relationship with food
- Delivering safe, compassionate, and affirming care tailored to each client's unique circumstances and identities
- A minimum of a Master’s degree in clinical counseling or a related field
- State licensure (or eligibility) in a counseling discipline (e.g., Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, LPC)
- Experience with eating disorders and higher levels of care is advantageous
- Understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion practices
