Chef – The Willows of Ramsey Hill | Part-TimeThe Willows of Ramsey Hill, part of Episcopal Homes of Minnesota, is a specialized memory care community in St. Paul dedicated to providing compassionate, person-centered care for individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and other forms of memory loss.We are seeking a Chef to join our culinary team and help create enjoyable, high-quality dining experiences for our residents. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys cooking, takes pride in their work, and wants to make a difference in a senior living community.Pay & SchedulePay: $21.00–$26.00/hour, based on experienceSchedule: Part-Time, 0.4 FTEHours: 9:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m.Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend, Saturday and SundayWhat You’ll DoPrepare meals according to recipes, production sheets, and dietary guidelinesEnsure food meets standards for quality, portion size, temperature, and presentationFollow food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling proceduresMaintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen and work areaComplete production and tally sheets accuratelyUse ingredients and leftovers efficiently to help reduce food wasteMonitor food and supply needs and report shortages as neededReport equipment concerns or malfunctions promptlyWork collaboratively with the culinary team to provide a positive dining experience for residentsQualificationsRequiredPrevious food preparation or production experienceKnowledge of food safety and sanitation practicesBasic math skills for portioning and food preparationAbility to follow recipes, instructions, and dietary guidelinesStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 poundsAbility to work in hot and cold kitchen environmentsPreferredCulinary experience in senior living, healthcare, or a similar settingExperience preparing meals for special dietsJoin The WillowsBring your culinary skills to a community where meals are an important part of each resident’s day.
