Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2010 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 10 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 6 months gap required between for Any Contract Type at Program: Aya Program - Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited program.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Mixed med-surg/PCU unit with transitional beds; PCU experience is not required. General medicine patient population includes opioid abuse, organ failure, change in LOC, behavior issues, and MRDD/delay issues. Med-surg procedures including Foleys, PICC, IV, IV antibiotics, chest tubes, bedside paracentesis, PD, and LP.

Shift & Scheduling: Rotating schedule occurs every 4 weeks. Traveler will be assigned the same straight shifts 4 weeks in a row, then will rotate to the opposite shift for the next 4 weeks, and so on. Weekdays and some weekends.

Floating Requirements: Will be required to float to different units within the OSU organization as needed.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
