As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. As a Technical Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how organizations seamlessly and securely connect their environments. You will lead cross-functional initiatives that enhance connectivity between customer on‑premises infrastructure, other cloud providers, and the Google Cloud Platform. You will be responsible for driving technical programs from conception through launch. Manage roadmaps, track progress, and mitigate technical risks and dependencies across multiple engineering and product teams, leveraging knowledge of networking and cloud architectures. Analyze and improve program management workflows, identify and eliminate issues, and implement best practices to enhance team productivity and velocity. Facilitate clear and timely technical decision‑making by bringing together the right engineering stakeholders, defining clear accountabilities, and ensuring alignment across engineering, product management, and other functional groups, grounded in a solid understanding of technical trade‑offs. Contribute to programs focused on enhancing the reliability, scalability, and performance with knowledge of distributed systems, network protocols, and infrastructure design to ensure services meet the demanding needs of global enterprises. Influence product and engineering roadmaps and align efforts with customer needs to define the future direction of hybrid networking at Google Cloud.
