Receptionist Position

Behavioral Hospital of Bellaire is seeking a Receptionist to receive guests, answer calls to the main switchboard, and respond to routine questions in a professional and timely manner. Position responsibilities include: receive hospital visitors, ascertain needs and direct visitors appropriately; ensure that all visitors sign in. Answer and disseminate incoming calls on the switchboard in a timely, professional, and courteous manner. Utilize the paging system to make announcements as required. Promote a positive working environment and guest relations.

Qualifications: Education: high school graduate or equivalent. Experience: two (2) years' experience operating multi-line telephone switchboard, preferably in a health care environment, and any combination of education, training, or experience in a hospital environment. Certifications: successful completion of CPR and Handle With Care certification; certifications may be obtained during orientation.
