Discover an exciting contract opportunity for a dedicated Special Education Teacher in Saddleback, CA. This assignment will make a significant impact on elementary students in grades 4-6 with mild to moderate needs. With a manageable caseload (maximum of 28 students) and the support of an instructional assistant, you'll play a critical role in helping students develop their academic and social skills.

Key Requirements:

• Valid and active CTC licensure required
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher, ideally with elementary or mild/moderate caseloads
• Strong classroom management and differentiated instruction skills
• Ability to collaborate with team members, including paraprofessionals and other educators
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for each student
• Use data-driven techniques to adapt curriculum and instruction based on student needs
• Work closely with support staff, including an instructional assistant, to provide high-quality learning experiences
• Communicate regularly with families and other stakeholders, maintaining strong partnerships
• Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and timelines
• Promote a positive, encouraging atmosphere that celebrates each student's growth and success

This position is full-time, Monday through Friday, totaling 37.5 hours per week. The assignment runs from August 20, 2026, to June 10, 2027. Compensation for this role ranges between $40-50 per hour, distributed through weekly pay.
