AI/Client Engineer

Job Location: Dearborn, MI Job Type: Contract

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

• The client portfolio revolves around Engineering applications (both third party & homegrown) which they use to manage the complete data for all product vehicles that come out of Ford.
• There are a diverse set of applications including Teamcenter PLM which is used to manage different sub-sets of the data for production vehicles. All of the data is required to build the vehicle. And by data, I mean everything that is involved in the product lifecycle, right from Ideation, Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement & so on...
• The volume of data is huge and they are probably looking at building some AI/Client solutions to look at historical & current data and determine the certain patterns of failures or errors and provide recommendations to correct the BOM & other metadata beforehand.
• Another requirement that I know of is to extract data from the NHTSA site, that collects data of all issues across all vehicle brands in the US, identify the ones that are specific to Ford and map to certain classification as per Ford process.
• You don't have to extract data from NHTSA, that is already available in the Client's database, just need to comb through the data using AI/Client and provide some reports on what they are looking for. At some point, they are also planning to deploy all of these solutions on the Cloud.
• This is at a high level; I hope you got the gist of it.
• The project will be executed as per Agile methodology. They have product teams to look into different aspects of the solution. And essentially, anyone in the team is an all-rounder.
• So, the candidates will work with the business to understand requirements, provide design solutions to address the requirement, design & build the solution & then test & deploy.

Mandatory Skills:

• Pandas, Keras, TensorFlow, SciPy, NumPy, sci-kit-learn, pytorch, NLTK, Matplotlib, Supervised learning, Unsupervised learning, Reinforcement learning, A/B Testing.
• Data Structures & Algorithms Nanodegree.
• Advanced proficiency with Python, Java, and R code writing.
• Extensive knowledge of Client frameworks, libraries, data structures, data modelling, and software architecture.
• In-depth knowledge of mathematics, statistics, and algorithms.
• Superb analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Great communication and collaboration skills.
• AI Programming with Python Nanodegree.
• Machine Learning Engineer Nanodegree.

• BA/BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
