Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionateNurse Practitioner (NP)to join our growingGastroenterology (GI)team atGastropark Ridge. The ideal candidate will support our board-certified gastroenterologists in providing high-quality, patient-centered care for a wide range of digestive health conditions. This role is 100% inpatient.

Location:Gastropark Ridge offers a welcoming environment with modern facilities, convenient access to major highways, and a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and medical histories on GI patients in the hospital

• Call responsibility involved- to be discussed during interview• Order and interpret diagnostic tests related to gastrointestinal conditions.• Manage chronic GI disorders such as GERD, IBD, IBS, liver disease, and more.• Collaborate closely with GI physicians in outpatient and inpatient settings.• Perform follow-up care and education for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.• Provide pre- and post-procedural counseling and medication management.• Document patient encounters accurately in Epic EMR system.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Illinois.• Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology NP.• Minimum of 1–2 years of NP experience, preferably in a GI or internal medicine setting.• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient education skills.• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.

Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, and many more voluntary benefit options. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $125,000-$135,000 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
