At pOpshelf, we’re redefining the retail experience with fun, affordable, trend-forward products that make everyday shopping exciting. As an Assistant Buyer (Beauty), you’ll partner closely with the Buyer to create an assortment that delivers both value and excitement—directly shaping what our customers see in stores.

What You’ll Do:

• Partner with the Buyer to select and merchandise products that create excitement and drive sales
• Coordinate the flow of merchandise through daily collaboration with vendors, distribution, transportation, and replenishment teams
• Analyze product performance and provide insights to support buying decisions
• Support sales planning and short- and long-term forecasting
• Assist with merchandising execution, including planograms and in-store communication
• Build market knowledge through store visits, competitive shopping, trade shows, and vendor engagement
• Maintain strong relationships with internal teams and regularly visit stores to stay connected to the customer experience

What You Bring (Must-Haves):

• 3–5 years of merchandising and/or relevant retail experience
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively partner with internal and external stakeholders
• Analytical ability to interpret sales, market, and consumer data to inform decisions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and make sound decisions
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to contribute to a team-oriented environment
• Ability to quickly learn negotiation dynamics and apply interpersonal skills to achieve business goals
• Understanding of customer needs and market trends to support product assortment decisions
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
