Registered Nurse – PostpartumJob Type: TravelProfession: Registered Nurse (RN)Specialty: Mother BabyWeekly Pay: $2,071Shift Details: Nights - 3 x 12Job Order Details:Start Date: 10/05/2026End Date: 01/04/2027Duration: 13 Week(s)Float Required: NoJob Description:Requirements:- Minimum 2 years postpartum experience- Labor & Delivery experience and IV start skills required- EPIC charting experience required- BLS and IV certification required- Telemetry interpretation competency, with EKG exam to be passed prior to startRoles & Responsibilities:- Provide family-centered care for postpartum mothers and newborns, including those with special needs such as NAS.- Perform assessments and manage care related to postpartum complications and newborn conditions, including but not limited to postpartum hemorrhage, wound infections, and hypoglycemia.- Support breastfeeding, provide discharge teaching, and care for infants post-circumcision.- Administer medications including IV medications/antibiotics and manage therapies such as oxytocin and magnesium sulfate.- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams and ensure adherence to safety protocols and best practices in patient care.Compliance / Notes:- Orientation: 36 hours- Weekend coverage required- Pre-approved time off: 2 days per contract- COVID-19 vaccination not required; Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)- Compliance with credentialing process required; urgent fingerprinting process for candidates outside the state.Client Details:City: ColumbusState: OHJob Board Disclaimer: TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is an equal-opportunity employer and fully complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
