Facilities Project Manager

Facilities Project Coordinator CNFC is seeking a qualified Facilities Project Coordinator to perform on‑site project services at Naval Medical Center, Portsmouth (NMCP). This position supports the facility manager with tasks listed as part of daily essential duties and responsibilities within the Defense Health Agency (DHA) environment and provides technical management support at NMCP in support of this contract. Candidates should be well‑rounded, effective communicators able to work independently and meet aggressive deadlines. Compensation & Benefits Estimated Starting Salary Range: $120,000 - $135,000 DOE. Pay commensurate with experience. Full‑time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice. Responsibilities Advise the Facilities Manager of all issues that require action or the action of senior leaders Review documentation to ensure that required documentation is complete and usable for the maintenance and operations of the facility once the project is turned over to the Command Coordinate with facility infection control officers to ensure compliance Coordinate with facility safety officers to implement effective safety policies Provide timely coordination with clinic staff to ensure proper reviews and notification of projects and utility outages Coordinate with various stakeholders to include Facilities, DPW, DHA, and project‑related Corps of Engineers staff Participate in final on‑site inspections of completed work and report findings to the COR and/or stakeholders Coordinate design and submittal reviews, analyze and respond to contractor requests for information Monitor construction contractor quality‑control activities and make appropriate recommendations to the COR for Government action Maintain records of all necessary construction documentation such as financial cost accounting, meetings, drawings, submittals, applications for payments, change orders, proposals, purchase orders, communications, transmittals, notes, etc. Attend pre‑construction, staff, in‑progress reviews, and other project‑related meetings, and provide reports to stakeholders Coordinate with various stakeholders to include Facilities, Logistics, Medical Maintenance, the construction contractor, Regional Facilities Staff, NAVFAC PM staff, and project‑related Corps of Engineers staff Maintain progress photos of the project Review schedules, work performance quality, safety oversight, coordination effectiveness, and perform documentation reviews for the COR for all repair and construction work in progress or planning Ensure conformance with NFPA codes, Unified Facilities Criteria, Joint Commission standards, safety standards, and other agency criteria Prepare reports and perform special projects as required by the contract Complete required Army training as required by the site Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture and/or Engineering preferred and/or 10+ years of related professional experience, which may be considered a substitute for a degree Experience performing Quality Assurance duties in a construction environment U.S. Citizens only Candidate selected will be subject to a U.S. Government federal background security investigation and must favorably pass a drug screen Must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information Working knowledge of medical design criteria, the Uniform Facility Criteria (UFCs), and Federal Building Code requirements Ability to work in a dynamic environment Legal Disclaimer All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to protected veteran status, disability or any other status protected under applicable federal, state or local law.
