Loaner/Rental Agent

Loaner/Rental Agent Join Moran Automotive Group as a Loaner/Rental Agent in Clinton Township, MI. This role is responsible for managing the rental process from start to finish. The includes coordinating reservations, maintaining records, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role requires excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as a keen eye for detail. The individual will be expected to handle rental contracts, inspect vehicles, and monitor inventory levels. Collaboration with other departments and problem-solving are also key aspects of the job. Responsibilities

• Greet customers, process check-ins and check-outs, and review rental terms, conditions, and fuel/mileage agreements.
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness, fueling, and maintenance schedules of the rental fleet.
• Coordinate the loaner and rental vehicle process for customers, ensuring vehicles are clean, fueled, and ready for use.
• Finalize bills, process payments, and collect or verify necessary customer data (ie., driver's licenses and insurance details).
• Manage scheduling and tracking of loaner and rental vehicles to maximize availability and utilization.
• Assist customers with paperwork and contract completion for rental agreements.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors, technicians, and customers to provide updates and resolve issues related to loaner vehicles.
• Maintain accurate records of all loaner and rental transactions.
• Perform daily inspections and minor maintenance checks on vehicles as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Basic knowledge of automotive vehicles is preferred.
• Experience with rental or loaner vehicle programs is a plus.
