Summer Activity Camp: Sports / Athletic Instructor (Miller CC)Associated Recreation Council (ARC), in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, is seeking a qualified Sports / Athletic Camp Instructor to lead youth all-sports camps at Miller.These camps introduce participants to a variety of sports and athletic activities. All sports camps are designed to help children explore different skill sets and guide them toward the sports that feel right for them. While participants explore a range of sports, they also build core skills that are essential to many athletes.Hourly Wage: $27.50–$28.00Status: Part-time, SeasonalLocation – Miller Community CenterScheduleMonday – FridayCamp session options may include:9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.1:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.9:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.Summer Activity Camp: Sports / Athletic Instructor Responsibilities:Plan and lead safe, age-appropriate sports and athletic activitiesTeach fundamental movement skills, coordination, and basic sport techniquesSupervise participants and maintain a positive and inclusive camp environmentSet up and break down equipment and activity areasCommunicate effectively with ARC staff and site supervisorsFollow ARC and Seattle Parks and Recreation policies and proceduresSummer Activity Camp: Sports / Athletic Instructor Qualifications:Must be 18 years of age or olderExperience instructing or coaching youth in sports or athletic programsExperience working with children in a recreational or camp settingAbility to manage groups in a positive and supportive mannerBenefits:Paid Sick and Safe Time (PSST)We are actively prescreening and interviewing for this role, so if this role is a good fit for you and you want to learn more about it, please apply now. #J-18808-Ljbffr Associated-Recreation-Council
