Senior Cost Manager

Job Summary We are seeking a Senior Cost Manager for a full-time, direct hire opportunity supporting healthcare construction and infrastructure projects in Seattle, WA. This role is ideal for a senior construction cost professional who can take ownership of budgets, forecasting, change control, financial reporting, and cost governance across hospitals, clinics, campus upgrades, and related capital improvement programs. This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to partner closely with project leaders, accounting teams, contractors, consultants, clients, and executive stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Lead construction cost management for healthcare, institutional, and infrastructure capital projects from preconstruction through closeout. Own project budgets, committed costs, forecasts, cash flow projections, cost-to-complete reporting, and financial narratives. Manage change control, cost trend logs, contingency tracking, escalation impacts, risk exposure, and recovery planning. Prepare executive-level weekly and monthly cost reports and communicate budget variances, forecast drivers, and financial risks. Reconcile contractor and consultant cost reports, validate pay applications and invoices, and support audits, closeout, and final account reconciliation. Partner with project managers, accounting, contractors, consultants, and client stakeholders to resolve cost issues and improve cost management processes. Compensation and Benefits Salary: $180,000 to $250,000+ annually, depending on experience, education, and skills. Job type: Full-time, direct hire. Schedule: Monday through Friday.
