Senior Acquisitions Manager | Los Angeles Area About the Company Our client is a fast-growing, privately held real estate development and construction organization focused on residential projects across the West Coast. The leadership team is well capitalized, has a clear growth plan, and is investing heavily in its people and its pipeline. The Opportunity This is a high-visibility leadership seat with real influence. You will own the deal pipeline from first look to closing, work directly with senior leadership, and help set the criteria that guide where the company invests next. You will also build and lead a small team of analysts and associates. What You Will Do Build and run the acquisitions strategy and keep a consistent flow of qualified residential opportunities moving Cultivate relationships with brokers, property owners, lenders, and capital partners Underwrite and negotiate land, portfolio, and larger-scale transactions Structure partnerships and work closely with finance, development, and legal through closing Present investment recommendations to executive leadership Guide the post-closing handoff and early-stage strategy for each asset Manage and develop analysts and associates Represent the company at industry events and in the investor and lending community Required Qualifications 7+ years of experience in residential real estate acquisitions, investments, or development Track record of sourcing, underwriting, and closing land or multifamily transactions, including portfolio or large-scale deals Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills, including Excel-based pro forma and returns analysis Experience negotiating with brokers, lenders, and capital partners and presenting investment recommendations to senior executives Experience managing or mentoring analysts or associates Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, business, or a related field Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree or MBA Experience with entitlement, ground-up development, or joint venture structuring Existing relationships with brokers, lenders, or equity partners Compensation and Benefits Competitive base salary, performance bonus, and an ownership opportunity, plus a full benefits package including health coverage and a retirement plan.
