Mechanical Assemblers will report to the Senior Manager of Manufacturing. First shift hours are from 5:00 am to 2:30 pm. Second shift hours are 2:30 pm to 12:00 am. Second shift candidates MUST be able to train on first shift for up to 2 weeks before moving to second shift schedule. Responsibilities Follow printed work instructions. Read schematics, wiring diagrams and building assembly drawing along with MWI. Handle small precision tools, hardware, etc. Properly sign in on correct PIDs, complete ESD testing, and follow all manufacturing guidelines and procedures. Keep team lead informed of assembly issues. Maintain a neat appearance in their work area and follow FOD compliance. Shall be accountable for quality, quantity, and inspection of all work performed. High school diploma or GED required. 2 – 4 years of equivalent experience. Computer Skills with proficiency in Word, Outlook, WorkForce and SAP S4/Hana. Applicant must have familiarity with electronic assemblies, and surface mount assemblies. Ability to interpret IPC-A-620 standards, where applicable. Excellent verbal and written communications – Fluent in English. Must be able to lift 25 lbs. with or without assistance. Preferred but not required qualifications: Solder Skills The hourly pay range for this role is $22.59 - $28.87 USD along with a target incentive compensation plan (ICP) of 3% . 2nd shift employees are eligible for an additional $1.50 per hour shift differential. Once training on 1st shift is successfully completed, the employee will transition to 2nd shift and become eligible for an additional $1.50 per hour shift differential.
