Box Building Assembly Technician

Location: Westminster, CO

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00/hour (Based on Experience)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Overtime: Available at 1.5x Pay

About the Opportunity

Are you looking for a hands-on manufacturing position with a consistent first-shift schedule? We are seeking dependable, detail-oriented individuals to join a growing production team as a Box Building Assembly Technician . This role involves assembling electronic enclosures and components using hand tools while following detailed work instructions and quality standards.

This is a great opportunity for candidates with assembly, production, manufacturing, mechanical assembly, or electronics experience who are looking to develop their skills in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble boxes, enclosures, and related components according to work instructions and specifications

• Perform mechanical assembly using basic hand tools

• Read and follow written instructions, diagrams, blueprints, and assembly procedures

• Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality and accuracy

• Complete production tasks while meeting productivity and quality standards

• Enter production information into computer systems as required

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

• Work closely with team members to achieve daily production goals

Qualifications

• Previous assembly, manufacturing, or production experience preferred

• Mechanical assembly experience is a plus

• Ability to use basic hand tools such as screwdrivers and similar equipment

• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

• Ability to read and understand detailed work instructions in English

• Basic computer skills (Windows, Word, Excel, or similar)

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Reliable attendance and a positive attitude

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Electronics assembly experience

• Soldering experience (fine pitch SMT or through-hole soldering)

• Experience working in an electronics manufacturing environment

• Experience following SOPs, work instructions, and production procedures

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Westminster, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
