As a Physical Therapist Assistant, youll contribute to Elara Caring's mission by providing quality physical therapy services to patients in their home environment. Responsibilities include:

• Perform direct physical therapy services according to the Plan of Care established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Adhere to State Practice Act Guidelines and verify the Plan of Care prior to each visit.
• Provide care according to physician orders, assessment data, and established standards.
• Incorporate patient care goals and instruct patients and caregivers on safe use of prosthetic, orthotic, and assistive devices.
• Teach therapy home programs to patients and caregivers.
• Work in a physically demanding environment requiring lifting and transfer of patients.
• May work irregular hours including call hours if applicable.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program approved by the American Therapy Association.
• Current, unrestricted PTA license valid in the state of work.
• 6+ months of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred.
• Ability and willingness to travel within the branch coverage area (up to 50%).
• Must have a dependable vehicle, valid drivers license, and current auto insurance.
• Able to lift 50100 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
