Temporary Development Coordinator / Development Specialist Job Type: Temporary Assignment Duration: 6 Months with potential extension Hours: 35 hours/week Pay Range: $60,300 - $73,000 annualized equivalent We are working with a well-established nonprofit organization that is seeking a Temporary Development Coordinator or Development Specialist to support their development team. This role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who enjoys managing multiple projects, collaborating with internal teams, and supporting fundraising and engagement initiatives. This position will provide administrative and project support across several key development initiatives, including donor engagement, fundraising campaigns, stewardship efforts, prospect research, CRM management, and event support. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift frequently. Responsibilities Provide administrative and project support for development and fundraising initiatives. Support member-led fundraising campaigns, donor outreach, and stewardship activities. Assist with campaign operations, tracking, and reporting. Conduct prospect research and maintain accurate donor information. Support CRM management, data updates, and reporting activities. Assist with planning and coordination related to annual meetings and special events. Manage multiple projects and deadlines while adapting to changing priorities. Communicate proactively with team members and stakeholders to ensure projects stay on track. Maintain accurate records and documentation while supporting ongoing development efforts. Qualifications Experience in nonprofit development, fundraising, member engagement, or related administrative support is preferred. Strong project management and organizational skills. Ability to manage competing priorities and quickly adapt to changing needs. Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams. Proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership of assignments and follow through with minimal oversight.
