Business Development Coordinator

Global Law Firm - Business Development Coordinator Key Responsibilities Maintain, update, and distribute marketing materials including brochures, practice descriptions, attorney biographies, presentations, and collateral assets. Provide support for business development initiatives such as seminars, webinars, sponsorships, podcasts, and client/prospect meetings. Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and target clients to support strategic outreach and positioning efforts. Draft and coordinate submissions for directories, awards, and ranking services (e.g., Chambers, Legal 500, GCR, GRR). Manage and maintain firm databases and tracking systems, including CRM platforms, pitch trackers, collateral libraries, and experience databases. Assist with special marketing campaigns and business development projects as needed to enhance firm visibility and client engagement. Core Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s Degree (B.A./B.S.) in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum of two years’ experience in marketing, business development, or related functions within a professional services environment; law firm experience preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Proven ability to analyze complex information, synthesize insights, and identify growth opportunities. Collaborative team-oriented mindset with excellent relationship-building skills. High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Nine-to-Have Qualifications Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems and legal directory submissions. Knowledge of event planning and management. Familiarity with legal or professional services firm branding and marketing strategies. Prior experience supporting thought leadership activities such as podcasts or webinars. Basic graphic design skills or familiarity with marketing automation tools.
