The Install Helper will assist with residential HVAC installations, including equipment replacement, ductwork, materials, and jobsite preparation. No previous HVAC experience is required, but mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn are important. Responsibilities
- Assist HVAC Installers with residential heating and cooling system installations
- Load, unload, and organize tools, equipment, and materials
- Help with ductwork, refrigerant lines, wiring, drain lines, and equipment setup
- Prepare jobsites and maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow instructions from the Lead Installer and assist with daily job tasks
- Properly use hand tools and power tools as directed
- Follow company safety procedures and HVAC installation standards
- Provide professional and respectful service while working in customers' homes
- Perform other duties as needed to support the installation team
- Previous HVAC or construction experience is a plus, but not required
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, and other residential work areas
- Able to lift and carry HVAC equipment and materials
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team
- Professional communication and customer service skills
