Seasonal BNAT Clinical Instructor/SupervisorThe Fox Valley Career Center is seeking a seasonal BNAT Clinical Instructor/Supervisor to assist nursing students in the FVCC Nursing program. This position is for nursing clinicals, which run from mid-Fall to mid-Spring each school year. Hourly payrate is from $15/hr -$25.75/hr, depending on schooling, credentialing, and experience. Bilingual and minority candidates are encouraged to apply.Job Description For: BNAT Clinical Instructor/SupervisorRequired QualificationsActive BSN License with 2+ years of work experience4+ CEUs related to Alzheimer's/Dementia careBasic Life Support CPR certifiedPreferred Qualifications (may obtain once hired)Basic Life Support CPR InstructorHourly Wage Range: $15.00 - $25.75Overview of the Role The Approved Evaluator's primary role is to ensure that the competency level of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) students' clinical skills meets the standards of performance as outlined in the Illinois Nursing Assistant Training Competency Evaluation Program (NATCEP) manual. This individual is responsible for evaluating the performance skills component of the competency examination.Key ResponsibilitiesPerformance Skills Evaluation: Evaluate the clinical skills of CNA students against the required standards set in place by IDPH.Competency Assurance: Ensure that students demonstrate competence in all 21 selected performance skills to successfully complete a Basic Nursing Assistant Training Program (BNATP). These skills include, but are not limited to: Basic Hygiene and Care (e.g., Wash hands, Perform Oral Hygiene, Perform Perineal Care, Give Partial Bath) Resident Mobility and Transfers (e.g., Transfer Resident to Wheelchair Using a Transfer Belt, Transfer Using Mechanical Lift, Ambulate with Transfer Belt) Vital Signs and Measurements (e.g., Measure and Record Temperature, Pulse and Respiration, Measure and Record Blood Pressure, Measure and Record Weight, Measure and Record Height)Evaluation Administration: Administer the competency skills evaluation while observing all resident rights and preferences
