Senior Digital Analytics Specialist

This fully remote role combines hands-on digital analytics implementation with strategic client consulting. You will own measurement initiatives from architecture and tracking implementation through reporting, analysis, and actionable recommendations. You’ll work extensively with GA4, GTM, dataLayer specifications, data warehouses, dashboards, and experimentation programs. About half of the role is client-facing, requiring you to confidently lead conversations with senior marketing stakeholders and present your findings. You’ll also collaborate closely with paid media, SEO, design, and development specialists across multiple client accounts. Accountabilities:

Design and implement GA4 and GTM measurement frameworks, including event architectures, custom dimensions and metrics, and server-side tagging. Develop detailed dataLayer specifications, validate implementations against live containers, and collaborate with developers to ensure accurate tracking. Diagnose analytics issues end to end, identifying problems across tags, triggers, data collection, and downstream reporting. Build scalable data pipelines and warehousing strategies using BigQuery or equivalent platforms, including GA4 exports and integrations with other business data sources. Develop and maintain decision-focused dashboards using Looker Studio, Tableau, and/or Power BI, translating complex datasets into clear recommendations for stakeholders. Lead Conversion Rate Optimization initiatives by developing hypotheses, designing A/B and multivariate tests, evaluating results with statistical rigor, and connecting findings to revenue or lead-generation objectives. Analyze behavioral data across GA4, Crazy Egg, Microsoft Clarity, and similar platforms to identify user drop-off points and opportunities for improvement. Support business development by contributing to proposals, pitches, analytics scoping, and recommendations for prospective clients. Manage multiple client accounts simultaneously while partnering with cross-functional teams across marketing, design, development, SEO, and paid media. Requirements:

5+ years of experience in an agency or consulting environment, with direct ownership of client or stakeholder relationships and multiple concurrent accounts. Strong hands-on expertise with GA4 and Google Tag Manager, including event architecture, custom dimensions and metrics, server-side tagging, and troubleshooting through Tag Assistant and browser developer tools. Advanced understanding of dataLayer design and specification. Practical coding experience, particularly JavaScript for GTM and SQL for querying, transformation, and analysis. Experience designing data pipelines and data warehousing solutions using BigQuery or a comparable platform. Demonstrated ability to build dashboards in Looker Studio, Tableau, and/or Power BI that support business decisions rather than simply report metrics. Experience developing and managing CRO programs, including A/B and multivariate testing. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate complex tracking and behavioral data issues. Excellent spoken and written English, with the ability to explain technical analytics issues clearly to senior marketing leaders and produce concise, client-ready documentation. Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, including confidence leading unscripted client discussions and defending data-driven recommendations.
