Role Responsibilities Assists the Surgical Team in providing a safe, appropriate, and culturally aware patient care Help surgeons during surgery by passing them instruments and other sterile supplies Prepare the Operation Room with all the necessary supplies Properly sterilize required instruments and supplies Serve as surgical assistant as needed Assist in order and restocking Operating Room supplies and instruments Qualifications High school or GED required Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technician program and certified 1 year hospital Operating Room experience preferred Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).
