Work within a children's academic teaching hospital environment. Requirements Current RRT and BLS certifications required. Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist. NICU and/or PICU experience. Pediatric critical care and ED experience. Level 1 trauma facility experience. Valid Missouri state license required (Illinois candidates may be considered with a pending IL license). Epic EMR experience. First‑time travelers welcome. Additional Information Every other weekend required; no on‑call. No floating within the facility. RTO limited to no more than 7 days per 13‑week contract; no RTO during first week of orientation. Former permanent employees of BJC facilities must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler. Standard travelers may work up to 18 months before a required 3‑month break; allied and non‑clinical travelers up to 12 months before a required 6‑month break. Scrubs may be any color or facility‑branded St. Louis Children’s Hospital apparel. Paid parking available on‑site in a garage (daily rates apply).
