Legal Entity: Fives Machining System Inc - MTSS Country: United States State: Kentucky City: Hebron Job Family: Purchasing and Supply Chain Job Type: Permanent position Work Location: On-site Compensation: Accountability: Following procedures, this position is responsible for shipping, and processing of domestic and international shipments. This position is also responsible to check material against accompanying documents for accuracy, completeness and damage prior to completing shipping process. Scope and Responsibilities: Essential duties include, but are not limited to the following: Records and checks quantity and quality of goods shipping for conformity to purchase orders and specifications. Follow shipping process according to document specifications. Allocate demands to appropriate orders. Store stock items in the assigned location in or around the warehouse. Mark inventory material with proper labeling. Fills customer sales orders or production orders, including checking stock locations for items, retrieving the items, generating documentation for delivery of the orders. Communicates and coordinates with appropriate internal customer service representatives returns, rejections, and credits & analyst holds. Processes "drop shipment" notices through on-line computer system (SAP) from buyers. Communicate with sales department to prioritize what orders are shipping. Respond to special handling requests for various orders from within the organization. Proactively attains a safe and healthy work environment for all employees. Education/Certification: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Experience: 1-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Forklift Truck Training, Stock Picker Training SAP experience highly preferred Skills: Basic computer knowledge with the Inventory software and Order processing systems.
