Job Opportunity – OB/GYN Physician – Virginia

Start Date: May 1, 2026

Location: Richmond, Virginia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Office hours 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM with 25–30 scheduled patients per day; 24-hour call coverage included (1 in 4 call ratio via Perfect Serve)

Highlights:

• Locum to permanent opportunity with a collaborative team of 4 physicians and 5 midwives
• Full-service practice: 90% low-risk pregnancy, 10% high-risk pregnancy, 20% gynecology
• Onsite lab and ultrasound; 3 exam rooms per provider with dedicated one-on-one clinical support staff (CMA, LPN, RN)
• Level III NICU support; Level 2 trauma designation
• EPIC EMR system for streamlined documentation
• Opportunity to perform full-spectrum OB/GYN procedures including routine and complicated deliveries, C-sections, VBACs, and gynecologic surgeries (open and laparoscopic)

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
• Active Virginia medical license or willingness to obtain
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Self-Query NPDB report (within 30 days) required at time of presentation
• Clean malpractice history and background check required
• Candidates must be local to Virginia; only mileage reimbursed
• Experience with full range of obstetric and gynecologic procedures including low and high-risk pregnancies, routine and complicated deliveries, and both office-based and surgical gynecology
