This role involves providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in a hybrid office and hospital environment, including deliveries, gynecologic procedures, and fetal ultrasound interpretation, with autonomous call shifts supported by onsite ultrasound and dedicated clinical staff. Opportunity Highlights Locum tenens coverage from late May through early September 2026 Multiple scheduled shifts, including 24-hour call coverage with overnight duties Level 2 NICU environment with onsite ultrasound and OB equipment Office hours generally 8 AM to 4 PM, with on-call responsibilities via PerfectServe system Support from one-on-one CMA, LPN, RN per provider Schedule Details Multiple shifts scheduled from May 28 to August 30, 2026 24-hour call shifts with overnight duties included Typical work hours: 8 AM to 4 PM, with on-call coverage Clinical Scope Manage low- to moderate-risk pregnancies, including fetal ultrasound interpretation and fetal monitoring Perform gynecologic procedures: IUD placement, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP Assist with deliveries: vaginal, C-section, VBAC Handle minor and surgical gynecology procedures: tubal ligation, ovarian procedures, ectopic pregnancy management Operate within a Level 2 NICU environment Practice Environment This opportunity is based at a well-established outpatient and hospital facility serving the greater Richmond area. Providers will utilize onsite ultrasound, fetal monitoring, OB equipment, and EPIC EMR. The support staff includes one-on-one CMA, LPN, and RN per provider, with onsite lab and ultrasound facilities.
