Marketing Director

Lead and manage the firm-wide marketing function Lead and develop a high-performing marketing team through coaching, mentoring, feedback, and career development Develop and implement marketing plans aligned with firm and business-unit growth objectives Execute strategic marketing programs, including events, webinars, campaigns, advertising, and content creation Collaborate with the Senior Director of go-to-market, firm leaders, principals, and marketing team leaders Analyze marketing return on investment and develop reports on marketing and sales metrics Establish and implement firm-wide marketing best practices Oversee strategic marketing plans, market insight, segmentation, channel management, and industry/service trends Oversee marketing budget and spending to maximize return on investment Represent marketing in leadership meetings and communicate with firm leadership Lead the marketing mix for priority markets and support target-account and sales initiatives Assist partners with retaining and generating specialized-services revenue from existing clients Drive implementation and use of Salesforce.com throughout the firm Execute and customize the Baker Tilly brand across marketing strategies and tactics Lead or participate in special projects, taskforces, marketing operations projects, and merger integrations Analyze MROI data and implement best practices across firm practices Maintain marketing expertise through professional organizations and independent study Requirements Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field Excellent interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, superior judgment, and strong work ethic Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and work collaboratively in a team-focused environment Demonstrated leadership applying current marketing principles, including marketing automation, CRM, social media, online and native advertising, and digital marketing Ability to manage and prioritize projects independently Excellent planning and measurement skills, including building integrated campaigns and leveraging thought leadership Excellent people skills and ability to build relationships with leadership and team Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and hands-on computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite Ability to develop projects proactively, work under tight deadlines, and solve problems resourcefully Minimum of 12 years of business-to-business marketing experience, preferably in a professional services environment Demonstrated leadership skills and prior marketing management experience in a professional services firm preferred Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in leading and managing comprehensive marketing functions, developing high-performing teams, and executing strategic marketing initiatives.
