Lead the development, coaching, motivation and evaluation of department personnel. Conduct staff meetings, leadership team meetings, 1:1 supervisory meetings, and/or staff retreats. Interdisciplinary teamwork will be fostered with all staff. Maintain positive relationships among all members of the team.* Provide evidence based and outcome-oriented spiritual care and/or grief care with specialization in pediatric spiritual and grief care.Job Education & Experience Requirements:* Graduate-level theological degree from a college, university or theological school accredited by a member of the Council for Higher Accreditation.* 4 units of Clinical Pastoral Education as offered through an ACPE accredited organization.* Ordination, current endorsement, or good standing in accordance with the requirements of his/her/their own faith tradition or endorsing agency.* Board Certification recognized by Association for Clinical Pastoral Education, Association of Professional Chaplains, Canadian Association for Spiritual Care, National Association of Catholic Chaplains, and Neshama Association of Jewish Chaplains; or others as agreed upon by the Director of Pastoral Care that meet the Common Qualifications and Competencies for Professional Chaplains ( Minimum of 5 years’ experience in providing spiritual and/or grief care in a health care setting required.
