Duties and responsibilities Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general unarmed security duties to clients. Promote safety by observing, correcting, and reporting hazards. Understand and comply with Prosegur and client requirements and specific post instructions. Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures. Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner. Provide customer‑service orientation, basic to intermediate computer skills, and effective written and oral communication. Perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all‑weather conditions as an unarmed security officer. Physical Requirements These physical requirements are essential to performing the job successfully. Applicants should ensure they are capable of meeting these requirements prior to applying. Reasonable accommodations may be considered in accordance with applicable law. Walk and stand for extended periods, including completing multiple rounds and patrols of up to 1–2 miles per shift. Frequently climb stairs, ramps, or ladders as required by site patrol routes. Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Maintain alertness and situational awareness during all patrols. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Qualifications 18+ years of age. California Security Guard Card. High school diploma or GED required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Capable of following complex instructions. Strong interpersonal skills. Willingness to participate in the company's screening process, including drug screen and background investigation. Knowledge of security operations and procedures.
