Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)

We’re looking for a Temp Dental Hygienist to join our team for the next month! This is a part-time, temporary position with competitive pay and a flexible schedule—ideal for someone with a year of experience and familiarity with Dentrix Ascend.

What You’ll Do:

• Assess gum health, check for signs of periodontal disease, and provide early intervention when needed.

• Take and review digital X-rays to assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.

• Guide patients on proper brushing and flossing techniques for optimal at-home care.

• Provide tailored recommendations for oral care products, such as electric toothbrushes, mouthwashes, and interdental cleaners.

• Discuss the impact of nutrition and lifestyle habits (such as smoking, grinding, and sugar intake) on oral health.

• Collaborate with dentists, assistants, and front office staff to create a seamless patient experience.

• Maintain a positive and professional atmosphere, ensuring patients feel comfortable and valued.

• Accurately document patient histories, exam findings, and treatment progress in digital records.

• Work closely with the dentist to develop personalized treatment plans that align with each patient's needs.

• Track and schedule follow-up visits to ensure patients receive continuous care.

part-time $50 - $60 per hour

Salary based on Experience.

Work Hours:

• Mondays & Wednesdays

• Twice a week, for one month (up until the end of May)

Who We’re Looking For:

• At least one year of experience as a Dental Hygienist

• Proficient with Dentrix Ascend (or willing to learn quickly)

• Professional, reliable, and compassionate toward patients

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, temporary role

• Team player with a positive attitude
