Veterinary Receptionist (Care Coordinator) – Montecito Veterinary Center PetVet Care Centers’ Montecito Veterinary Center is currently seeking a Veterinary Receptionist (Care Coordinator) to join their team. Position Overview As a Care Coordinator, you will support a high‑performing veterinary hospital by performing a variety of administrative and customer‑service tasks. Your role is closely aligned with Veterinary Receptionist, Customer Service Representative, and Client Care Specialist positions. Key Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service in person, over the phone, and during high‑stress situations. Manage lobby flow, address concerns, calm distressed owners, and schedule appointments. Handle basic medical emergencies for pets and owners, ensuring safety and well‑being. Assist with medication pickups, inquiries, and provide information about services and products. Input and manage data in practice management software, including billing and accounts. Assist with retail sales, weigh pets, process faxes, and maintain records. Reconcile cash drawer and perform end‑of‑day duties for accurate financial transactions. Qualifications (Required) Must be 18 years of age or older. Some veterinary reception experience required. Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) Reception experience in fast‑paced environments with high call volume. Schedule 4–5 days per week, Monday through Friday, 9 AM–6 PM.
