Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Own the design, implementation, validation, and long-term sustainment of manufacturing processes to ensure safe, repeatable, and cost-effective production throughout the product lifecycle.
  
  

• Lead the design and optimization of production cells, tooling, fixtures, and test systems using advanced lean principles, error-proofing, and flow optimization.
  
  

• Serve as a technical owner for complex sustaining issues, including MRBs, nonconformances, supplier escapes, production interruptions, and field feedback; lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  
  

• Lead cross-functional teams to drive manufacturing and supplier issue resolution, using data, cost, and long-term process health to guide decisions.
  
  

• Lead high-impact capital projects and strategic improvement initiatives from proposal through Release-to-Production, prioritizing based on ROI, capacity, quality, and sustainability.
  
  

• Complete Role Standard Work and deliver all other duties as assigned.
  
  

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Proven ability to take ownership of manufacturing outcomes, not just engineering tasks, with accountability for process stability and performance.
  
  

• Advanced problem-solving skills with demonstrated experience leading complex root cause and corrective action efforts in production environments.
  
  

• Strong working knowledge of lean manufacturing tools (Standard Work, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, error-proofing) and their practical application on the production floor.
  
  

• Advanced experience designing and improving production fixtures, tooling, and manufacturing layouts (NX or SolidWorks preferred).
  
  

• Ability to lead by influence across cross-functional teams, communicate effectively at all organizational levels, and bring structure to ambiguity.
  
  

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Industrial engineering or a related field with approximately 7-10+ years of progressive manufacturing engineering experience.
  
  

• Demonstrated experience leading complex manufacturing projects, capital initiatives, or plant-level continuous improvement programs.

• The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk
  
  

• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  
  

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
  
  

• Employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, or caustic chemicals and risk of electrical shock

Salary Range: $100,000/yr - $120,000/yr
