Senior Scrum Master

The Senior Scrum Master will lead Agile delivery teams, focusing on project governance and driving high-impact software development initiatives. This role requires a seasoned Agile practitioner with strong facilitation skills, the ability to coach teams, remove impediments, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. The Scrum Master will serve as a key liaison between Product and Technical/Development teams, championing Agile methodologies and principles. Key Responsibilities Serve as a Servant Leader by facilitating Scrum ceremonies and cross-functional meetings. Ensure accurate and consistent use of Agile processes across teams. Quickly understand product/project details and support planning and prioritization. Collaborate with Product Managers and Technical Managers to guide decision-making on high-value features. Actively engage with internal and external stakeholders to resolve impediments and address risks. Support reporting of team metrics to promote transparency in productivity and velocity. Help prioritize cross-team work and track interdependencies. Attend Scrum of Scrums (SOS) meetings and communicate potential delivery impacts. Mentor and train teams on Agile practices and principles. Act independently to surface and resolve issues. Coordinate QA and production release activities and follow up on issue resolution. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree (4-year) in a relevant field. 9+ years of experience as a Scrum Master working with application/service teams. Experience managing multiple distributed teams building Java/Windows or web applications. Strong written and verbal communication skills for documenting decisions, risks, and actions. Excellent facilitation, coaching, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills. Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Advanced Certified Scrum Master (A-CSM), or equivalent. Experience with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence. Strong understanding of Agile frameworks including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe. Preferred Qualifications Experience in retail or payments domains.
